Almighty God, from whom all thought of truth and peace proceed:

We commit to you the whole Universe,

We pray for peace in the whole world,

We pray for wisdom to those who take counsel for the nations of the earth

Father co- lead with our leaders, so that peace may prevail

Make us instruments of your peace

and let your glory be over all the earth.

We pray for all who work for peace and an end to tensions,

And those who work to uphold law and justice

We pray for an end to fear,

Comfort and support to those who suffer.

We pray for calm in places that have been disrupted by war and

That people may go about their lives in safety and peace.

Grant us peace in the world, in our nations, our communities, in our homes and above all peace in our hearts.

As we rest tonight may we find peace, favor and protection in your loving hands. In your mighty name we pray. Amen.
